Welcome to DiWaid's Working German Shepherds! I have been breeding and training top quality German Shepherds since 1984. Our dog's are health tested, titled and temperament tested before breeding as we strive to produce stable dogs with great working ability. With over 45 years of raising, training, trialing and titling German Shepherds it's safe to say that I've titled over two dozen dogs in a wide variety of working and fun sports. We also work with service dogs as well, specializing in mobility service dogs.

I am a present, and active member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Washington State. I'm also a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America and a recognized breeder on Good Dog. I belonged to Schutzhund USA for over 10 years and instructed 4-H when my kids were little. I've put titles on dogs in Schutzhund, AKC obedience, Rally, Barn hunt, herding, Scent Work, trick dog and more. I've also successfully trained therapy dogs (TDI), emotional support dogs (ESD) and mobility service dogs. DiWaid’s kennels offer training sessions for all breeds, and we have years of training experience to help solve your doggie issues quickly. A free evaluation is offered, as we cannot set up a training plan to fit your wants and needs until we have met you and your dog!

I am also a certified AKC evaluator and can help you achieve your CGCs, trick dog, and home manners titles. CGCs must be done in person, but trick dog and home manners titles can be in-person or by video! We also offer time slots for videoing virtual rally and obedience legs! This last year we officially transferred the kennel business to my youngest daughter. She is into the hotter dogs, I used to love back in the day, but I now specialize in service dogs and performance dogs. Dale is an amazing dog whisperer and I love that I am lucky enough to be passing the lines and ripens into her hands, as I slow down and specialize in sport and service dogs.
